The Freedom Center offers separate programs for youth and adults--a 12 week program for youth, and an 32 hour program for adults that fulfills court ordered requirements. By request The Freedom Center can also offer workshops or informational seminars introducing some of the basic concepts of the program.

The Freedom Center uses the training model and textbooks developed by George Anderson. All of the anger management facilitators at The Freedom Center are Anderson & Anderson Certified Providers. The materials and course outline has also been developed by George Anderson. Gaining Control of Ourselves, by George Anderson, is used as the text for the adult anger management course. This is the same book used in the movie Anger Management with Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler. Controlling Ourselves, by George Anderson, is used as the text for the youth program.

The program is designed to help individuals recognize and manage anger. One of its goals is to teach acceptable ways of expressing anger. By gaining a better understanding of self, we will learn to better control our anger so that it does not lead to violent outbursts or actions which are harmful to others. Also, we will learn different techniques for stress management and enhancing emotional intelligence.
