Welcome to El Centro de Libertad, where we believe that freedom from addiction exists for everyone. El Centro offers outpatient alcohol and drug treatment and other related services to residents of San Mateo County, California.
El Centro helps people recover from the devastation of substance abuse, whether the substance is alcohol, methamphetamines, heroin, crack, other drugs, or a combination of addictions.
Service is offered in English and in Spanish. We have a sliding fee scale. Some services are provided free of charge. No one seeking recovery will be turned away for lack of funds.
Sharing the Gift of Recovery
El Centro de Libertad, The Freedom Center, helps people of all cultures realize their full potential. We believe that through counseling, education and 12 step study, people with alcohol/drug abuse and other related issues will find a path which will allow them to achieve and sustain recovery. El Centro provides comprehensive, culturally sensitive outpatient treatment to low and moderate income English- and Spanish-speaking members of the community.
